Hair Stylist – Commission-Based Position at Birch and Oak Salon
Location: 10203 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY
Who We Are Looking For:
Birch and Oak Salon is seeking passionate and driven hairstylists to join our growing team!
Ideal Candidate Traits:
Holds a valid Kentucky Cosmetology License
Minimum of 2 years of salon experience (preferred but not required)
Eager to continue education and advance skills
Professional, friendly, and inclusive
Organized and tidy in work habits
Reliable, punctual, and drama-free
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Services & Skills:
We are a full-service salon, and while experience in the following is preferred, it is not required:
Hair coloring and color correction
Hair extensions
Smoothing treatments
Special occasion hair and makeup
Bridal styling
Stylists should have a passion for learning, a drive to grow their clientele, and a self-promoting mindset. Birch and Oak is not a traditional walk-in salon, so marketing yourself and building strong client relationships is key!
Compensation & Perks:
Commission-based pay up to 45% on services
Up to 20% retail commission on salon products
Additional Information:
We are looking for stylists who want a permanent salon home where they can grow their business without the overhead costs of running a solo operation.
