What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Nanny position at Birch Nannies?
Full Time Nanny - Greenwich, CT
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm with flexibility to start at 8:00am some days (with notice given to prepare).
Compensation: $35ph and guaranteed 45 hours per week.
Benefits: Benefits include paid vacation, personal/sick days, federal holidays paid and off. Nanny vehicle provided for on-duty hours.
Start Date: As soon as the right fit is found. This is a long term position and the family would love to have their nanny for at least 4-5 years.
Ages of Children: The nanny will primarily be with the 6 month old infant for mornings. There are a 3yo and 5yo that go to school for half days. The nanny will pick up the children around 12/1pm then be with all three children during the afternoons and manage their lunch, nap and activity schedules.
Ideal Candidate: The family is seeking a dedicated career nanny with a strong history of nanny roles in private households. The ideal candidate is energetic yet mature, effortlessly managing the daily needs of three young children while fostering a warm and engaging environment. A deep understanding of infant and toddler milestones is essential, along with the ability to create fun, stimulating days filled with outdoor play, learning, and hands-on activities. The family values a high work ethic and a sense of joy.
This nanny will be responsible for solely managing schedules, children's household tasks, including children’s laundry, children’s meal preparation, baths, and naps, ensuring a smooth daily routine. The family values someone with a positive can-do attitude, a genuine love for children, the energy to keep up with their active household and a nanny who doesn’t need to be closely managed. Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years professional childcare experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bonus but not required: A second language, such as Tagalog
