Cabin Cleaning Attendant

Individually and as part of a team, clean cabins and main lodge guest areas.

Ideal candidates:

Resort Cabins Main Lodge Cleaning Attendants are passionate about the sense of accomplishment to see a room or cabin sparkling clean and perfect for a guest to experience.

They take pride in overseeing that each room of the cabin is super clean, beds perfectly shaped, all furniture in its exact inviting space and the smell of the disinfectants as they depart the room/cabin each time they complete a cleaning.

The Cleaner performs various functions to keep rooms/cabins and its environment clean, attractive, and comfortable for guests.

Birch Trail Resort contracts roughly three to four attendants to assist with the maintenance of the cabins and main lodge.

You will be brought on as a subcontractor and paid by cash or check every other week.

• Average hours per week: 5 per week - Once Summer Season kicks off - Saturday's are MANDATORY.

we are open year around so spring and fall/winter there will be work as well. You work as a team of three people to clean five cabins on Saturday morning.

During the summer Saturday’s are a must as this is the only day we turn all five cabins.

Higher pay for leading the team, training and inspecting.

Additional resort grounds projects available if you would like extra hours.

Summer season Bonus Pay available.

Requirements/Abilities:

MUST have own vehicle for reliable transportation and the ability to clock in for scheduled work dates on time and for the duration scheduled

 Strong ability to pull and push work-related equipment, such as a loaded housekeeping cart/wagons over uneven and sloping surfaces

 Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and pull

 Ability to sit, stand, walk, or kneel for up to six hours
 Ability to manipulate, turn, and grasp objects of different sizes and weights
 Strong hand-eye coordination and motor skills
 Strong ability to follow verbal instructions

 Strong knowledge of cleaning supplies and procedures

 Ability to work independently without direct supervision and produce excellent work

 A passion for cleaning and creating beautiful rooms

 Possess high school diploma or its equivalent educational level

 Previous cleaning experience may be an advantage but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekends only
