Position: Year-Round Grapple Loader Truck Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Grapple Loader Truck Operator with 1-2 years of experience in the tree care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading and dumping logs/brush from various jobsites during the day
- Trimming and removing trees for our customers
- Ladder climbing, chipper, log loader operation, and ground cleanup
Requirements:
- Must have CDL A or B with air brake endorsement
- Prior experience with a tree-care company
- Ability to prune and remove trees safely using machinery
- Experience with Grapple Loading
- Background in warehouse, laborer, tree service, or general labor roles
- Self-motivated and able to work well in a team
- Proficient in the safe operation of chainsaws and other pruning equipment
- Excellent work habits and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Tree Care Industry Experience is preferred
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to wear necessary PPE
- Capability to withstand exposure to various weather conditions while completing work assignments
- Proficiency in operating and servicing all required tools and equipment
- Clean driver’s license
- Excellent Spatial Awareness near power lines
- Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods due to the dangerous nature of the work
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver weights of 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Gripping, climbing, balancing, pulling, and pushing
- Climbing on and off trucks
