Long Term Substitute - Special Education Teacher

The Role: Birchland Park is seeking a long term special education substitute teacher to cover a maternity leave that will go from April through the end of the school year. The teacher will teach small group special education in English/Language Arts to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students, and a small group Social Studies class for 7th graders. The ideal candidate will be familiar with instructing students with the modifications and accommodations specified in their individualized education plans. They will be a strong communicator and enjoy working with students that need a little extra support. Birchland Park is a fun, family-centered school that enjoys working with middle school aged students and believes in making middle school a positive experience.
