We are seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team at Birchwood Care Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building lasting relationships with people and working in an intimate, family-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Help residents with positioning, turning, and lifting/transporting them when necessary.
- Answer resident calls in a timely manner and observe, report, and respond to changes in their conditions.
- Attend required in-services and educational events.
- Assist residents with daily meals and feeding.
Requirements
- Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification in good standing.
- Strong documentation skills, experience with Point Click Care (PCC) a plus.
- Solid work history with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to respect all members of the healthcare team.
- A positive attitude and passion for working with the elderly.
- Patient, understanding, and compassionate care for those requiring our attention.
