Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Project Estimator, you will be a cornerstone of the project management team, responsible for:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and proposals.
- Creating detailed scopes of work aligning to estimates
- Validating subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure scope completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborating with architects to resolve RFIs and clarify project requirements.
- Developing project schedules that account for market conditions and lead times.
- Researching and sourcing materials, ensuring precision and efficiency in cost forecasting.
- Partnering with project managers to ensure seamless handoffs and effective contract negotiations.
- Maintaining and enhancing our cost database to reflect industry trends and insights.
- Creating special reports that analyze data and identify emerging construction trends.
- Staying ahead of the curve through ongoing education and technical training.

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in construction, including estimating.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, industry practices, and construction means and methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and electronic estimating tools.
- Expertise in data analysis and a solid understanding of financial and project management principles.
