Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club is currenting looking for Banquet Servers for our Summer 2025 Season. Our Servers have high earning opportunities. On average $300 a shift or event worked in season. (Mid June-Mid September)
Training to begin in the next couple of weeks. Restaurants will open at the end of the month.
Job Type: Part-Time Seasonal
Salary: $4.99-$7.00/hr (based on experience) plus outstanding lucrative tips

Summary
Responsible for taking member and guest orders for food or drink, making recommendations regarding the menu and proving information on daily features, in a courteous manner.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally serve member and guest food and beverage orders ensuring quality and accuracy
- Maintain full knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Practice FIFO method of inventory control
- Check identification of members and guests in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol; Dispense alcohol consistent with State regulations.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to members and guests excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to members and guests to stop drinking, or ordering taxis or other transportation for intoxicated patrons.
- Responsible for keeping rooms set to standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area
- Communicate with chef, adding to order sheet of needed sides items when they are low
- Maintain excellent communication with management regarding customer satisfaction, feedback and food counts
- Responsible for sending correct ticket orders to the kitchen
- Ensure all billing is conducted correctly (member names and numbers)
- Keep menus organized and presentable
- Perform all opening and closing side work as required; Checklists
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
Education Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous experience as a server preferred.
- Basic Knowledge of wine pairings
Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club is a private member owned association with approximately 800 members.
