Birchwood Farms Golf and Country Club is currently seeking Lifeguards for our upcoming summer Season
Spend your summer out at the pool!
This position does require the candidates to be Lifeguard training certified. If you are interested and without certification there is still time for you to get it! We are willing to reimburse the costs of your certification at the end of the season.
Job Type: Part-time and Full-Time seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary:
The Lifeguard will ensure swimmers safety in the pool area and administer first aid or lifesaving techniques when needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the rules and regulations of the swimming pool are followed to maintain a safe swimming environment.
- Administers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and uses automated external defibrillator (AED) when needed.
- Contacts emergency medical personnel when a serious injury occurs.
- Confirms Membership with guests entering the pool
- Provides swimming lessons when needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of and ability to administer or use first aid, CPR, AED, and other lifesaving techniques.
- Excellent observational skills.
- Ability to enforce pool regulations and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Must possess the following certifications from the Red Cross or other equivalent agency: lifeguard training, CPR, AED, and first aid.
