What are the responsibilities and job description for the Expo/Food Runner - Canopy position at Birchwood Inn Partners, LLLP?
Essential Functions:
- Retrieve completed food orders from kitchen and deliver to correct guests
- Perform a perimeter sweep at beginning & end of shift
- Observe tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
- Ensure that all areas are clean and maintained throughout shift
- Assist in bussing and resetting tables
- Maintains professional, composed and calm demeanor at all times
- Completes all side-work as directed
- Assists in an entire team effort
Special Skills necessary for this position:
- Full-Service Restaurant Kitchen Experience is desired
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to be organized in a changing environment
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of uncertainty or crisis
Physical Requirements:
- Stand during entire shift
- Reach, bend, stoop, lift, shake, pour, carry, and push
- Lift and carry tubs, trays, and cases weighing up to 25 lbs. up to 20 times per shift
- Frequent exposure to high temperatures, humidity and cold
