Program Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Program Specialist to join our team. The Zilpha M. Booth Learning Center enables people with intellectual disabilities and those who care for them to achieve their goals according to their Person Center Plans and live life to the fullest.

Qualifications:

• Direct Support Specialist (DSP).
• Experience with performing and documenting Active Treatments and Program Goals.

Duties

• Provide direct care and support to clients that meets their needs and enhances their abilities.
• Coordinate daily activities and services to facilitate success for clients and staff.
• Work with direct care staff to plan client activities and events on both a weekly and monthly basis.
• Ensure that the day program services provided are consistent with the needs and guidelines expressed in each client's care plan and ensure all clients programs are completed as written.
• Provide supervision, leadership, and appropriate direction within the team of direct care staff.
• Ensure that all aspects of the day program services maintain compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Maintain all documentation as required by state and federal regulations.
• Maintain effective communication with all members of the client care team.
• Complete or contribute to all other tasks that support the welfare of the clients and/or facilitate the success of the clients or the staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
