PURPOSE OF POSITION :
Test RF components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS / SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.
2. Promote the Bird Family Values through your actions – Trust, Innovation, Teamwork, Achievement, and Accountability.
3. Be able to describe the quality policy and goals, your contribution to quality, and the effects of not observing quality and customer requirements.
4. Possess the ability to perform / execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO / ICE 17025-2005 accreditation
5. Test product to prescribed specifications.
6. Record data where applicable.
7. Report failures to the quality system.
8. Other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
1. Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent. 1 years’ experience with RF test and component-level troubleshooting.
2. Knowledge of RF test equipment (signal generators, signal analyzers, power meters)
3. Possess the ability to perform / execute calibration and test procedures in accordance with ISO / ICE 17025-2005 accreditation
4. Working knowledge of script programming
5. Good team member
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. ISO 9001 and / or ISO 17025 experience preferred
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Grip and grasp tools and parts for assembly; repetitive lifting of materials / parts weighing 5-10 lbs; form parts and perform fine manipulation; turning and twisting wrists and hands.
