BirdEase is an internet-based fundraising event management software based in Portsmouth, NH that highly targets the golf industry, creating custom management solutions for those looking to raise money for a cause. Since 2009 BirdEase has been a go-to solution for organizations of all sizes when arranging a fundraising golf event or outing. Our software creates dedicated golf tournament websites. In this role, you will:
- Report to our Payment Processing Specialist
- Collaborate with our payment partner to assist in the merchant account onboarding process
- Manage customer merchant account inquiries, including but not limited to assisting in the application process, resolving basic payment issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate team members
- Understand compliance with merchant processing accounts, payment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and assist in relaying information to customers
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with internal teams to address merchant account and payment-related issues and improve payment workflows
- Perform other duties as assigned related to payment processing and customer merchant account assistance
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Interpersonal skills, Customer service experience preferred
- Willingness to learn about the payment processing industry, internal processes, and industry best practices
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to quickly learn new software applications and systems
- Demonstrated experience exercising consistent discretion and judgement related to handling confidential information

We are currently looking to start with a part time hourly position to support current payment support staff. Flexible/additional hours including future full-time positions may be available.

10am – 4pm weekdays. No weekends
12pm – 6pm weekdays. No weekends
2pm – 8pm weekdays. No weekends
Pay: $20/HR. Paid weekly
Location:
Work in our downtown Portsmouth NH office at 405 The Hill. We have parking. You will work on our equipment and phones.
Work from home is possible after part time training/intro period. Company would provide at home equipment, phones, and other hardware.
