Job Overview:

We are seeking a recent business graduate to join our team as a Business Development Administrative Assistant in our Jacksonville, FL office location. This is a great entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career in business development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will report to the Chief of Business Development and assist with administrative tasks as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Team: Help the Business Development team with day-to-day tasks, including scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and updating contact lists.
  • Track Opportunities: Assist in identifying and tracking new business opportunities in government sectors (State, Municipal, and Federal).
  • Manage the Pipeline: Keep our business development pipeline up-to-date by entering and managing data.
  • Conference Prep: Help with planning for conferences, including registration, travel arrangements, and keeping track of schedules.
  • Document Formatting: Use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to format and organize documents.
  • Special Projects: Get involved in various projects to help the team meet its goals.
  • Research: Conduct basic research on potential clients and competitors.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once with tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a team and on your own.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a business development role.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed (25%)

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
