Job Description:
Birdi Systems, Inc. is looking for a highly skilled CCURE Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting advanced access control, video management, and situational awareness solutions in the aviation and transportation market segments.
Main Responsibilities:
- System Installation and Repair: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to ensure accurate system installation and repair.
- Configuration and Setup: Configure CCure 9000 inputs, outputs, doors, schedule, events, & etc. to meet customer needs.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on custom Intelligent Door Controllers (IDCs) in enclosures fabricated by Birdi technicians.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze and diagnose system malfunctions and perform hardware & software troubleshooting.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in a technical, customer-focused field service role.
- Current Software House CCURE Certification.
- 2 years of CCure9000 programming experience.
- Understanding of Division 28 & 08.
- Highly developed technical knowledge of software, electrical & mechanical disciplines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Physical security systems, including CCURE, access control, and video management platforms.
- Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft SQL database configuration and administration.
- Networking principles and virtualization platforms like VMware and Hyper-V.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Computer programming experience.
- CCNA certification or equivalent network certifications.
- MCSE certification or equivalent system administration certifications.
- Enterprise-level security system integrations.
Additional Requirements:
