What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Project Manager position at Birdi?
Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Owns and manages cross-functional projects in a matrix organization including software, operations, and customer service to deliver products and services to customers on time and on budget.
- Defines project objectives / goals, determines scope of each project, and performs other activities to initiate a project.
- Performs all phases of project development : successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. This includes the planning, organization, communication of projects, and leading and controlling their scope, costs, and schedule.
- Tackles complex problems with a strategic mindset that balances internal and external priorities.
- Creates, monitors, and maintains status dashboards and / or other status related documentation to continuously report status to the organization.
- Creates, monitors, and maintains RAID logs for projects.
- Performs active risk identification and risk mitigation strategies to meet customer and revenue obligations for each release. This includes preventing risks from escalating into major issues.
- Clears blockers as required to keep the schedule on track. This includes organizing cross-functional team meetings and ensuring appropriate individuals are present based on the type of blocker.
- Drives key project management deliverables including kick off meetings, project planning and project plans, lessons learned, internal and external communications, meeting agendas and notes, etc.
- Works with stakeholders and management to determine staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for each project phase.
- Monitors and manages project constraints including scope, cost, timeline, resources, and risks.
- Provides day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks including project monitoring and removing any blockers that can impact release schedule.
- Collaborates with all team members in a SCRUM environment on a day-to-day basis.
- Collaborates with non-technical cross-functional team members in marketing, sales, pharmacy operations, and customer support as it relates to project status.
- Ensures completeness of all project tasks, deliverables, and documentation and obtains appropriate approvals as per the project plan.
- Actively provides status to managers and stakeholders on assigned projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
