Account Executive
As an Account Executive at BirdieBox, you’ll be a “hunter” at the forefront of driving new business and expanding our client base. You’ll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing deals with high value prospects. You’ll partner closely with our VP of Sales devising the growth strategy in your territory, as well as Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless client onboarding experiences and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and qualify potential clients through proactive outreach, networking, and lead generation meeting (ideally exceeding) set weekly and monthly KPIs
- Attend industry trade shows as needed and be a visible representative of BirdieBox
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Present product and service ideas around a potential clients engagement strategy and needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Client Relationship Management:
- Continue to build strong relationships with clients and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Understand clients evolving needs and tailor solutions to address their specific requirements
- Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Sales Process Management:
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure
- Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, pipeline, and forecast
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve shared goals
- Share best practices and knowledge with team members
- Participate in team meetings and sales training sessions
Qualifications:
- Results Driven: proven sales experience; track record of over achieving quota, highly resourceful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presence via in person and on phone
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Illustrates accountability, humility, active listening skills and seeks to learn
- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools
