Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for providing outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. Must be available weekends.
Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Assist in setting up banquet tables and dining areas for special events.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any requests or concerns.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards throughout all food handling processes.
- Support kitchen staff as needed with food preparation and handling tasks.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with knowledge of food safety practices.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety.
- Experience in cooking or food preparation is beneficial but not required.
- A commitment to providing excellent guest services in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within the kitchen and dining staff.
