Responsibilities
Manage turnovers, work orders, renovations, inventory, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance
Complete high-skill maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC)
Hire, supervise, and develop maintenance team members to turn around distressed properties
Plan, execute, and report on capital projects
Set safety expectations for the team and adhere to company safety standards
Monitor expenses and adhere to budget
Source and coordinate external contractors, vendors, and suppliers as necessary
Other duties as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
Requirements
Expertise in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC
In-depth understanding of building systems, apartment rehabs, and vendor coordination
3 years of supervisor experience
5 years of residential maintenance experience
Experience managing multi-site (preferred)
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Active driver's license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided)
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
Must be able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases
