Responsibilities
- Manage turnovers, work orders, inventory, groundskeeping, and preventative maintenance
- Complete high-skill maintenance work (plumbing, electrical, drywall, HVAC)
- Hire, supervise, and develop maintenance team members
- Plan, execute, and report on capital projects
- Set safety expectations for the team and adhere to company safety standards
- Monitor expenses and adhere to budget
- Source and coordinate external contractors, vendors, and suppliers as necessary
- Other duties as assigned to help Birgo improve lives through real estate
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of building systems and vendor coordination
- 3 years of supervisor experience
- 5 years of residential maintenance experience
- Strong relationship with city inspectors
- Experience managing multiple sites (preferred)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Active driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to work in confined spaces as well as ascend and descend ladders and staircases
