Overview
This position is responsible for actively assisting in the management of major accounts including national retailers in the Family
Channel. Responsibilities include supporting the sales team and learning key skills to manage the business. This position will need
to develop strong working relationships with account merchants, buyers, assistant buyers, and planners. The ASA should possess
strong analytical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Must have the ability to analyze reports and organize strategies
based on selling. Firm understanding of assortment building and be highly organized, take initiative and have a willingness to learn
and grow.
Responsibilities:
☐ Manage Birkenstock business across select accounts
☐ Assortment/SKU planning
☐ Drive business based on company’s initiatives
☐ Utilize data to drive growth & achieve sales targets
☐ Command and control of our Master Selling tool
☐ Preparation & presentation to accounts across Family
Channel
☐ Analyze business to identify in-season opportunities
☐ Work closely with marketing partners
☐ Weekly selling recaps
☐ Primary responsibility would be to select accounts and
driving business, secondary responsibility would be to
support the business of all moderate accounts
☐ Complete understanding and control of selling reports,
MSI tool, bulk reports management and SPS Date
Analytics
Requirements/Qualifications
☐ Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS) from a 4-year college or
university in Business or related field
☐ Minimum 5 years of related experience (Wholesale/Retail
footwear)
☐ 2 years’ experience managing a high-volume, nationwide
business
☐ Strong communication skills, able to recognize &
articulate account and product needs
☐ Advanced analytical skills
☐ Strong problem-solving skills
☐ Team player with a driving force with the ability to
expertly and aggressively sell and market our brand
☐ Demonstrate the ability to maintain a high degree of
confidentiality
☐ Work requires willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
☐ Demonstrate a complete knowledge of all assigned
product lines and maintain a personal library of
sales/technical materials for all assigned product lines
☐ Must be able to work outside of regular business hours,
which will include nights and weekends to meet our
customer needs
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
