JOB TITLE: Sr. Marketing Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Partner Marketing
TYPE: Regular F/T - Exempt
LOCATION: SF Bay Area/Marin - Hybrid
SALARY: $68k-$78k
Overview
• The Sr. Marketing Coordinator is responsible for helping execute Partner Marketing plans across all key SA
accounts and assisting with tradeshow/event support for specialty accounts
• This position will work closely with the Partner Marketing Directors to execute marketing programs designed
to drive product sell-through and elevate the brand. They will also work closely with other internal teams and
contacts from each account.
• This position will also work closely with the Sr Marketing Manager on select tradeshows and regional
events.
• Types of programs include: advertising, direct-mail/catalog, website, email, social, events, store training,
and in-store POS.
Responsibilities
• Works closely with SA Marketing Directors to ensure strategy and plans deliver as developed across the full
range of our strategic account retailers (Department stores, Youth, Athletic, etc).
• Manages day to day account support including seasonal image kits, key item calendars and other accountfacing tools, meeting decks, and monthly highlights.
• Communicates directly with retail partners on samples, shipping updates, image needs, and more as
needed.
• Develops and manages retailer sales contests.
• Develops and manages new supplier on boarding toolkit/process.
• Account site reviews / Competitive review
• Retailer and trade event management (tradeshow, retail, etc.), from planning to on-site event execution
• Provides confirmed marketing trackers and communicates featured styles to internal teams. Continually
improves our item priority process.
• Brings a passion for the brand and brand marketing every day.
• Elevates the Birkenstock brand in all we do – while always staying true to who we are.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements/Qualifications
• 3-5 years of consumer marketing experience.
• Ability to be in the Novato Office 2 to 3 x per week
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Design or related field; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Curiosity to learn from, share and apply new brand marketing programming.
• Knowledge of MS Suite PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Suite and project and file-sharing
platforms.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and handle work-related stress
• Travel required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and or move up to 20 pounds.
Salary : $78,000 - $680,000
