Account Executive – Digital and Print Media, Special Events
Location: Remote, must reside in the Greater Birmingham, AL area

Position Overview: We are seeking a results-driven and highly relational Account Executive (AE) to join our team in the Greater Birmingham, AL area. As a critical player on our team, you’ll help expand our reach, connect with local businesses, and drive revenue through innovative media solutions. You may be our ideal candidate if you are an experienced sales professional who thrives on building relationships and has a passion to help businesses tell their story, a knack for organization, and a heart for connecting Birmingham area businesses with families they can serve.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation
- Media sales- sell advertising solutions to local businesses including digital and print advertising, achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
- Capable of bringing in 25 new accounts in the Greater Birmingham, AL area within the first 90 days.
- Research and identify prospects before presenting offers and closing new business.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand clients’ marketing needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Educate and raise awareness about Birmingham Christian Family.
- Opportunity to grow your account list in Nashville, TN remotely
Administration
- Track weekly activities in HubSpot and Excel.
- Obtain art for ads from clients and coordinate ad proofs with the creative team.
- Send agreements, obtain signatures, and submit ad agreements to the publisher.
- Keep clients informed of upcoming deadlines and publication dates.
- Attend team meetings and events, such as local chamber networking events and the company’s annual Celebrate the Family Expo.
- Gather customer feedback surveys and testimonials.

What you bring
- Experience: Understanding of sales, 2 years of experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma, GED.

- Compensation: base salary monthly commissions performance bonuses, On Target Earnings (OTE) $50,000.
