Due to our recent growth and plans for further expansion, we are looking to add an Accounting Specialist. The Accounting Specialist will work in partnership with other administrative staff to ensure all accounting functions are completed among internal and external teams. This position deals with low margin and high volume! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Performs a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical accounting functions. Calculates and posts high volume of business transactions Processes invoices Verifies financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records Provides other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization. Clarifies any questionable invoices or prices. Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy. Prepares financial reports and various accounting statements. Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters. Performs other related duties as assigned.
