Quick Lube Technician

$16.00 hour Birmingham Mitsubishi has an immediate need for Quick Lube Technicians. Applicant should have 2 plus years' experience working in a professional environment such as Jiffy Lube or any other automotive facility. Applicant should also have the drive to further his or her mechanical career to become a full certified technician. We offer competitive pay , paid time off. Duties

• Perform routine oil changes and fluid level checks on various vehicles.
• Conduct inspections of vehicle systems and components to identify maintenance needs.
• Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to assist in vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their vehicle's needs.
• Assist in sales efforts by recommending additional services based on vehicle diagnostics and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive service preferred.
• Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance the client experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
• Proficient in using power tools and automotive diagnostic equipment.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and understanding of automotive diagnostics is beneficial.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
