Job Overview
Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect finished parts using bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools
- Assemble components using hand tools and other equipment as needed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
- Proficiency in operating controls and programming CNC machines
- Familiarity with using bore gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools for quality inspection
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
