We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cardiac Med Surg Tele RN to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. Requirements

• Must have 2 years of surgical unit experience
• Prior experience with interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Surgical drains, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH
• MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Titrate cardiac drips
• Titrate vasoactive drips
• Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
  
  
  

Job Details

• Combination acuity unit: adult medical surgical and surgical stepdown
• Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient patients
• 12-hour nights, 36 or 48 hours accepted, every other weekend required
• Float Requirement: when needed to like units
• Unit systems: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
• 2 Days of hospital orientation, 24 hours of floor training
• Scrubs: all Navy or Navy on bottom/White Top

• Wide range of patient diagnoses that have had or plan to have surgery or involved in a trauma: Cellulitis, Appendicitis, Cholecystitis, Diverticulitis, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gun Shots, Stabbings, Falls, Various Cancers, Kidney Stones, Bowel Obstruction, Peripheral Vascular Disease, Limb Ischemia, Hernia, Gangrene
