About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Medical Surgical Travel Registered Nurse to join our team at Biron Robertson for roles across North Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients while enjoying the excitement of travel nursing.

Required Skills/Certs/Experience

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of experience required in last 5 years
• 1st time travelers accepted
• Skills: *Must be able to take heparin drips. PCA. Colostomy Care, Feeding tube care and management. Blood product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy. PICC line management, IV starts, *Active RN license required. Management of dysrhythmias, O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Traumatic Brain injury, ortho trauma, surgucal drains, chest tubes- Emerson/Pleuravac, Nasal Cannula, Oral Suctioning, Tracheostomy Management, Wound care. *Epic documentation experience required.
• Certs: BLS
  
  
  

Preferred Skills/Certs/Exp:

• ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Management of drips, CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries
  
  
  

Job Details:

• Target Ratios: 1:6-7 (Must be comfortable with these ratios)
• Shift: 12HR NIGHTS. 36 or 48 hours accepted. If 48, then no OT billed until after 48 hours.
