POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for assisting in all operational tasks related to the tissue acquisition program in assigned area. Adhere to established quality practices. This is a full-time position with hours ranging from early morning to late afternoon, depending on collection schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform tissue acquisition in assigned program service area.
2. Complete and manage donor records and quality documents.
3. Manage tissue acquisition supplies and inventory provided to you.
4. Complete and manage required training for Birth Tissue International and Hospitals.
5. Ensure that all proper documentation related to all activities are completed and maintained
6. Maintain professional licenses and certifications.
7. Any other duties as agreed upon.
POSITION EXPERTISE/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Healthcare background REQUIRED.
· Ability to adapt to change and facilitate change in a positive professional manner.
· Exhibit professional conduct and demeanor at all times.
· Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
· EXCELLENT computer skills, preferably iPad.
· Must be organized, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a thorough manner.
· Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
