Front of House Crew Member

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Crew Member to join our dynamic team at Biryani Boys. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service. As a Front of House Crew Member, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting various operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly demeanor, providing information about menu items and specials.
• Take customer orders accurately using our POS system, ensuring all requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Handle cash register transactions with precision, including processing payments and providing change.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods, ensuring all areas are well-staffed and organized.
• Buss tables promptly after customers leave to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
• Assist in stocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels to ensure the front of house operates efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries or concerns with professionalism, striving to enhance their dining experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or a restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with retail math and cash handling processes is advantageous.
• Experience using POS systems
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team-oriented setting.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
