Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Assist customers in selecting the right marijuana products based on their preferences and needs
- Educate customers on different strains, products, and consumption methods
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Process transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Upsell products and promote specials to increase sales
- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in a retail setting
- Knowledge of marijuana strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems
- Experience in electronics sales or technology sales is a bonus
