As we continue to scale, we seek a committed Compliance Officer to help us grow responsibly, keep up with regulatory changes, and foster trust with users, partners, and regulators.
What You’ll Do
As our Compliance Officer, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our internal compliance programs and ensuring the company meets all data privacy, financial transactions, and industry regulations. The Compliance Officer will work closely with leadership, legal, and operational teams to develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with international, federal, and local regulations impacting industries, including government, financial services, travel, real estate, healthcare, media, telecommunications, and more
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits to identify areas of improvement or vulnerability.
- Train employees on compliance procedures, data privacy, ethical conduct, and relevant legal requirements.
- Oversee and manage regulatory reporting and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, and HR teams to embed compliance into the product lifecycle and operational workflows.
- Investigate and address any compliance violations or concerns.
- Ensure proper handling of data in alignment with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations (as applicable).
What You Bring
- 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, preferably in a technology industry or enterprise business setting.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy laws, financial regulations, and industry-specific legal requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and implement compliance frameworks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc., depending on your industry.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
