What are the responsibilities and job description for the Greet Team position at Biscuit Love Brunch?
Welcome to Biscuit Love! A family business born in the South serving breakfast, lunch and brunch. We serve food that feels like home, provide service that welcomes all, and are a business that provides belonging to the individuals who dedicate their lives to making it turn.
Front Of House:
All new hires in the Front of House (FOH) will begin by training on our Serving, Register, Greet, and basic Bar stations. The goal of basic FOH training is to provide staff with an understanding of how the restaurant flows in order to provide an excellent guest experience. After basic training is completed, trainees have the opportunity to train more on the bar, in retail, etc. We all work as a cohesive unit in order to provide the best experience possible for our guests, so you may be scheduled in any area of the Front Of House.
Greeter:
The Greeter is one of the most unique roles at Biscuit Love. Part entertainer, part crowd management, 100% Hospitality. Employees in this position are tasked with readying eager guests by explaining the ordering process, walking them through menu items, and answering more advanced questions related to substitutions and dietary restrictions. Being the bookends of the BL experience, applicants should feel comfortable talking with guests at length, gain energy and joy from interactions, and be motivated to ambassador hospitable experiences.
We are a locally-owned family business. We love biscuits and serve breakfast and lunch every day to a community we care about. Yes, we’ve won some awards. Sure, you may have seen us in some pretty neat magazines and on a few foodie shows, but that’s not why we’re here.
We’re here because we believe in breakfast. We believe in breakfast for good. We want you to walk through our doors and know you are welcomed home. We want to create a place for you to share a meal with those you love — a meal made from scratch, with locally-sourced ingredients from farmers and purveyors we know and trust. We believe a meal is more than just food. It’s an experience — an experience in community, joy, empathy, and love.
