Biscuits & Bath, the only full-service dog car provider in New York City with 18 locations in Manhattan is looking for a Groomer with at least one year of professional grooming experience to join our winning team!
This role is ideal for a skilled groomer looking to grow within an established company. This position is designed for individuals who can deliver quality grooming services but may not yet be able to handle a full grooming schedule of eight appointments per day. You will work in smaller locations, providing consistency for clients and helping to stabilize grooming operations. The role offers hands-on training with a Senior Groomer to refine grooming skills.
Responsibilities:
Minimum Of One Year Of Professional Grooming Experience
Strong knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques
Ability to bathe, dry, and brush dogs efficiently and safely
Basic understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques
Excellent client communication and customer service skills
Must be able to work in multiple locations
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift pets of varying sizes
Path to Promotion: To be promoted to a commissioned Groomer, you must demonstrate the ability to complete a minimum of six appointments per day across all breeds and grooming styles. Training and mentorship will be provided to support your development and progress.
This is an hourly position of $20.00 per hour plus tips.

- Provide high-quality grooming services, including baths, haircuts, nail trims, and additional treatments
- Conduct pre-grooming consultations with clients to confirm services, assess coat condition, and suggest additional treatments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe grooming environment
- Ensure all grooming records and client preferences are updated in the system
- Work with location leaders to optimize scheduling and maximize grooming revenue
- Participate in hands-on training with a Senior Groomer monthly to improve technique and efficiency
- Executing our Groomer Daily Workflow every day
