Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in concrete finishing and related tasks to contribute to the successful completion of various projects.
Duties:
- Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and finishing freshly poured concrete
- Utilize hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete surfaces
- Apply curing compounds or sealants as needed
- Repair, resurface, and replace damaged concrete as required
- Follow blueprints or schematics to ensure accurate completion of projects
- Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role
- Proficiency in masonry, tile laying, hardscape, and trim carpentry
- Knowledge of construction estimating and concrete mixer operation
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for concrete work
- Ability to work at heights for roof-related tasks
- Strong attention to detail and precision in finishing work
- Must know how to set forms and see grade
