Chief Program Officer
Bishop & Co. is honored to partner with Liliʻuokalani Trust (LT) in the search for a Chief Program Officer. LT is a Hawaiʻi-based private operating foundation dedicated to improving the well-being of Native Hawaiian youth. With a strong commitment to innovation, LT creates meaningful impact through its programs, services, and strategic partnerships.
The Chief Program Officer (CPO) will provide visionary leadership in advancing LT’s mission of ensuring Hawaiian children thrive. As a key member of the executive team, the CPO will oversee all youth development programs, drive measurable impact, and foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership – Lead the development and execution of youth programs, ensuring alignment with LT’s mission and strategic goals.
- Program Development & Innovation – Design and implement innovative, culturally grounded programs that support positive youth development.
- Impact-Driven Approach – Utilize data to assess effectiveness, refine strategies, and allocate resources for maximum impact.
- Team Leadership – Inspire and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Resource Management – Oversee program budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and long-term sustainability.
- Community Engagement – Represent LT at key events, build partnerships, and advocate for the needs of Native Hawaiian youth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in youth development, education, social work, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 10 years of experience in youth development, social services, or community-based programs.
- Deep understanding of Native Hawaiian communities, cultural practices, and trauma-informed care.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

Starting Annual Salary: Estimated range, $250-$280K, commensurate with experience and budget approved.
