Bishop & Company is recruiting a Satellite Engineer / Teleport Manager for our client, a leading provider of satellite communication services in Kapolei, HI.
Job Description : As the Teleport Manager, you will oversee the Network Operations Center for our client. Your key responsibilities will include :
- Overseeing the repair and maintenance of all site facilities, including A / C systems, building structures, power runs, rack installations, and outside plant.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on all RF equipment and antennas.
- Assisting in the training of operations personnel on RF and facilities systems.
- Supervising 1st and 2nd level technical support, including monitoring alarms, opening trouble tickets, escalating and repairing issues, and setting shift coverage.
- Providing after-hours support for all operations activities.
- Maintaining inventory of all parts and equipment for the station, including antennas, RF / IFL equipment, splitters / combiners, adapters, racks, and cabling.
- Coordinating new customer installations and existing customer upgrades.
- Documenting all work performed.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
- Being reachable after hours for support issues.
Basic Requirements :
Compensation : $85,000-$110,000 annually
