Bishop & Company is recruiting for a Systems Administrator to join our client's team. You'll be responsible for the management and support of our computer systems, networks, and end-user devices. Your expertise will help optimize processing, storage, and security of our business data, ensuring the highest level of availability, performance, and protection of our critical IT assets.
This is a 100% onsite position.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in monitor and maintain IT related operations, including PC servers, client-server systems, and Windows Operating Systems environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V hypervisor, and server backups, data retention, and disaster recovery
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to team members at all levels
- Experience with office software applications, email server and related services, and cloud applications and services
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for IT management, security, and data privacy
Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field
- Three years of increasingly responsible experience managing or supervising IT operations
- Experience with end-user computing hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile) and server hardware
- CompTIA A , Network , Server , Security , MCSA, or CCNA certification a plus
Other Requirements
- Physical ability to remain in a stationary position, install and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment, and lift 40 pounds
Location: Downtown Honolulu, fully on-site
Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Compensation: $50,000-$70,000
