Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to an elderly lady in need of assistance with daily living activities. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for resident by ensuring her comfort, safety, healthy meals and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to resident, fostering a positive interactive experience in their living environment.
- Ensure compliance with resident rights and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
- Assist, observe and facilitate care as needed, providing comfort and support to both resident and their family during difficult times.
- Must have enhanced caregiving skills and experience, including CPR certification and other relevant training programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within her home setting.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving or long-term care settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of care plans, patient observation techniques, and resident rights is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and transferring patients when necessary.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- CPR certification is required; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
- Patient home is a non smoking environment .

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
