Overview of the Role

The Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality care for our residents. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure effective care delivery
  • Monitor resident care and implement improvements as needed
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to drive operational excellence and strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Iowa RN License (Required)
  • CPR Certification
  • 1 Year of Supervisory Experience
  • 1 Year of Recent Clinical Experience in Geriatric Nursing
