We are currently hiring a Full Time Painter who is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting using methods to achieve the highest quality outcome, in the most efficient time possible. This position is considered to be skilled, capable of correctly performing any task related to the removal, repair, preparation, and application of any finish.

We are currently hiring a Full Time Painter who is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting using methods to achieve the highest quality outcome, in the most efficient time possible. This position is considered to be skilled, capable of correctly performing any task related to the removal, repair, preparation, and application of any finish.
A Typical Day
- Skillfully complete interior and exterior painting assignments
- Ensure supplies are maintained and schedules are met according to facility needs
- Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain safe work habits at all times
- Understand and correctly apply various finishes and sheens
- Assist in general maintenance duties as needed and directed
- Complete minor drywall patches and repairs
- Performs all duties assigned in an effective, timely and professional manner
- Show evidence of working as a team member
- Adhere to attendance and scheduling requirements
- Adhere to established facility and departmental safety policies and procedures
- Maintain professional appearance and conduct exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
What We Need From A Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- General experience with professional painting required
- Minor Drywall patch and repair experience required
- Ability to work on ladder and scaffold
- Interpersonal skills are necessary for exchanging information as well as maintaining a courteous relationship with the residents, families, visitors and employees
- Ability to read and comprehend numbers and written material
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, and lift (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
