Our Bishop Gadsden at Home Department is seeking CNA / Caregiver team members to provide in home support to clients that promotes independence and mobility with an emphasis on emotional, psychological and social well-being. The successful candidate will have compassion for and the desire to work with the elderly.
A Typical Day :
- Provide personal care for clients, including bathing, showering, shampooing, oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, nail care, dressing, and shaving as needed.
- Assist clients with nutritional needs including serving, feeding, and providing proper fluid requirements.
- Assist with proper restorative care including range-of motion exercises, proper positioning, and ambulation.
- Encourage client independence and optimal level of functioning.
- Exercise standard precautions of infection control in all client care.
- Exchange client information with supervisor via communications binder.
- Launder clients’ personal items as needed.
- Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor.
