Bishop Gadsden, a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community located on beautiful James Island, is hiring a Full Time Thrift Boutique Assistant Manager for Eliza's Attic Thrift Boutique . The goal of this position is to support the Eliza’s Attic Manager in coordinating donation pick-ups, managing thrift boutique operations, and assisting with customer service, merchandising, and inventory management.

A Typical Day :
- Plan and schedule donation pick-ups efficiently, considering logistics and available resources.
- Communicate with donors to confirm pick-up arrangements, providing clear details and expectations.
- Communicate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate pick-up of donations.
- Evaluate donated items for quality and resale suitability, inspecting them before pick-up to ensure the item meets Attic resale standards.
- Collaborate with volunteers to sort, categorize, label, and price donations to ensure efficient processing and integration into the thrift boutique.
- Provide customers with detailed information about products and services to enhance their shopping experience, both in person and via social media outlets.
- Create and manage the monthly volunteer schedule, recruit new volunteers, and provide training to ensure a well-supported team.
- Accurately operate cash registers and handle transactions.
