Job Purpose:
Prepare and deliver local orders to customers as well as pick up items from local vendors as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Make deliveries and pick up items from local vendors
- Pull stock items, stage orders and load and unload delivery vehicle
- Coordinate production and delivery with Branch manager
- Provide Customer Service as needed to walk in customers
- Maintain a safe working environment, and ensure all items fabricated are manufactured to quality standards.
- Ensure that equipment and tools used are properly maintained.
- Perform other functions as required.
Job Requirements:
- Professional communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Shop math abilities
- Forklift experience preferred
- At least 2 years of experience driving a pickup truck or stake bed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test/physical and background check including MVR.
