Responsibilities and Expectations
As an LPN on our ECC unit, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of new residents to inform individualized care plans.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to facility policies.
- Providing direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborating with CNAs and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless coordination of care and promote resident satisfaction.
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in patient care and medication management.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Hold a valid LPN license in New York State and be in good standing with the State Registry.
