At Bishop Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as our Unit Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
We offer a competitive salary and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and other staff members on your unit, establishing policies and procedures, and mentoring less-experienced nurses.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and efficient work environment
- Mentor and coach nurses to improve their clinical and leadership skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Unit Manager or in a similar leadership position
- A valid RN license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
