Assistant Baseball Coach – Immediate Start

Bishop Ward, a Catholic high school dedicated to fostering academic and athletic excellence in a faith-centered environment, seeks an Assistant Baseball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will work alongside the Head Coach to develop student-athletes both on and off the field, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth in alignment with our school's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting effective practices and training sessions.
- Support the development and execution of game strategies.
- Mentor and guide student-athletes in their athletic and personal development.
- Promote a positive and inclusive team culture that reflects Catholic values.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players during practices, games, and travel.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
- Help coordinate equipment, facilities, and logistics for games and practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous baseball coaching or playing experience, preferably at the high school level.
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategies, and techniques.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of a Catholic educational institution.
- Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
- Compliance with all school and league policies, as well as completion of required background checks and training.

- Virtus Trained
- Satisfactory Background Check
