The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests by crafting beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires a mix of technical skills, customer service expertise, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Key Responsibilities : 1. Beverage Preparation and Service : Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to club recipes and member preferences. Serve drinks promptly and accurately while ensuring proper portioning. Offer recommendations and pairings based on members' preferences and the food menu. 2. Customer Service : Provide a friendly and engaging experience for members and guests, ensuring satisfaction with every interaction. Anticipate needs and resolve any complaints or issues in a professional manner. Foster relationships with regular patrons to enhance their experience and loyalty. 3. Bar Maintenance : Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar area throughout the shift. Follow opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and inventory checks. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage of ingredients. 4. Inventory and Sales : Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary. Accurately process orders and payments using the point-of-sale system. Upsell premium products and promote special offerings to maximize sales. 5. Team Collaboration : Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide seamless service. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and special events as required. Support team members in other areas of the food and beverage operation as needed. Qualifications : Education : High school diploma or equivalent. Experience : Previous bartending experience required, preferably in a high-end or country club setting. Certifications : Current bartender's license or ability to obtain a bartender's license. Skills : Knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods. Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, and reaching. Work Schedule : Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
