What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Medical Clerk position at Bismarck Cancer Center?
We are looking for motivated, loyal applicants who have a passion for learning about the medical field to join our team. The Bismarck Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art radiation treatment facility, is currently seeking a reliable and team-oriented medical clerk to assist our caring and compassionate healthcare team with managing electronic medical records. The successful applicant will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retrieving patient medical records, all while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Collecting demographic information, filing documents, and responding to requests for medical records for patients requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent organizational skills and is a critical piece of our work. On-the-job training will be provided with this position and night/weekend work is not required. The Bismarck Cancer Center treats over 800 patients a year and our Foundation helps provide necessary support services to treat the whole patient, not just the cancer. Requirements: High school diploma, reliable work history, excellent verbal skills, and interest/aptitude for writing required. Undergraduate diploma and experience in the medical field preferred.
