This position is responsible for providing specialized and administrative support for the metropolitan area transportation planning (MPO) programs and functions.

This position is responsible for providing specialized and administrative support for the metropolitan area transportation planning (MPO) programs and functions.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Generates and approves purchase orders for MPO expenditures; generates invoices; monitors budget for MPO expenditures; monitors encumbrances; prepares budgetary inquiry reports; prepares appropriate transfer requests; composes and submits inter-office billing vouchers.• Processes MPO-NDDOT bills for reimbursement; reviews invoices for accuracy; calculates participating jurisdictions' allocations; monitors vendor balances and follow-up with jurisdictions to ensure payment; composes correspondence and budget information for local oversight agency.• Prepares for attends meetings; receives, compiles, verifies and labels exhibits; prepares agendas, minutes and agenda packets; distributes packets via mail and email; records minutes; sets up teleconferencing and recording equipment.• Reviews grant reimbursement requests and calculates amounts to be drawn; determines eligibility; maintains grant worksheets; coordinates electronic draws.• Assists in the preparation of grant applications; serves as authorized agency representative for electronic grant submittals.• Ensures MPO programs are operated in compliance with all Title IV regulations and guidelines.• Updates and maintains the MPO website; updates calendars and announcements; posts documents; creates and monitors links.• Prepares a variety of regular and special reports.• Maintains MPO files and records.• Performs related duties
